CLIENT WEBSITE: Original Farmers Market
I was contracted to design something pleasing, unusual, a structure type sculpture that would become an icon to the Los Angeles landscape. My initial idea was a some kind of dominant shape, so I started thinking and sketching. I thought of large curves and then thought a plane wing!.
The prep and build was very intense because of all the metal work and clamping that went into the structure. A month later all the effort was worth it. I think I built an amazing piece of iconic design for the company and still hear many compliments to this day from tourist and locals.
