CLIENT: Rooftop Cinema Club
Basically I was asked to design everything, I had a blank slate, which is great as most craftsman have some kind of guideline. The main design had to include the construction of a projector booth, kiosks and bars. After much thought I remembered going to the cinema when I was a young boy back in England, and thought of POPCORN, It’s in a bright red box, tasted delicious, Its one of the most important aspects of going to the movies.
So the design and build began, two rooftop sites in Los Angeles, Downtown and Hollywood. The finished projector booth I think is a popcorn classic, the kiosks and bars all fit the cinema culture too.
The client was very happy and I continue to work with them when they need my input and design. I received many comments and referrals from this great project.
